The Amazon Arbitrage Resource Backpack

Here at iGen Entrepreneur we provide a wide range of free and paid services. We have also used a lot of other services.

As such we’ve built out a document which we will keep updated with things ranging from prep centre recommendations based on experiences of multiple experienced sellers, all the way through to free strategy calls and everything inbetween.

You can access that document by clicking here.

The below information may be outdated but I’m leaving it here to archive previous suggestions that may not be included in the document, but the document is the key piece of information here.

Amazon

Sourcing

Online Arbitrage Deals

A deal flow for profitable products to sell on Amazon. Let an army of VAs find and deliver deals to you.

Tactical Arbitrage

Extremely powerful sourcing software that allows you to run standard, wholesale, reverse and more scans. Will help you to find profitable products. Give it a go with a 10 day free trial if you use the coupon code “IGEN”!

Source Mogul

The search engine that sources profitable products for you to sell on Amazon. Give it a go with the free trial!

Analysis

Keepa

A tool that is vital for any Amazon seller. There is also a Chrome extension which I have done a video on here. Please note you now need to pay for the “good stuff” from the Chrome extension. Check out the video here.

SAS

Another great deal analysis tool. I would recommend this in conjunction with Keepa.

FBA MultiTool

Another good deal analysis tool. Honestly either of the 3 listed here will benefit you massively.

Prep tools

Note

If any of the below prep links are not working, just look for an equivalent with lots of positive reviews.

I DO NOT Prep myself anymore! I highly recommend you outsource prep and spend your time valuable time on something more productive. Check out the webinar replay on this topic here

Poly Bags

Required for plush products and bundling of products. You will go through a lot of these!

A4 Product Labels

Labels that you will apply to products you’re sending into Amazon’s fulfilment centres.

A4 Shipping Labels

Labels that you will apply to shipment boxes that you’re sending into Amazon’s fulfilment centres.

Bubblewrap

Required for certain fragile products.

Brown Tape

You will need a lot of this for your shipment boxes that will be going to Amazon’s fulfilment centres.

Clear Tape

Very useful to have for product preparation and also for shipment boxes. For example, taping items you have bubble-wrapped.

Safety Knife

Incredibly useful tool, in particular for opening boxes.

Label Remover

Use this in combination with the heat gun below to remove labels with ease.

Heat Gun

Use this on label and then use peeler above to remove labels with ease.

Goo Gone

Use this to remove labels and also to clear any mess left by labels. I will use a drop of this to clear any residue after I have removed a label.

Marker Pens

Useful for a variety of reasons. Main reason I love these is for numbering boxes so that I don’t forget which I have put in which box.

Scales

Makes weighing shipment boxes easy. It is a requirement to enter the weight of boxes being sent into Amazon’s fulfilment Centres

Tape Gun

Not essential. However, I find a tape gun speeds up how fast I can get a shipment done! Time is money…

Purchasing

TopCashback UK

A cashback site that pays out a percentage of the purchase cost from your suppliers. Great for boosting your ROI

TopCashback USA

A cashback site that pays out a percentage of the purchase cost from your suppliers. Great for boosting your ROI

Quidco

Another cashback site. Similar to TopCashback but sometimes the deals are different.

Complete Savings

Personally this is my favourite cashback site with earnings of 10% on a ton of retailers! Checkout a video I did on it here.

Honey

A free extension that checks for available discount codes. I have gotten purchases up to half price through this extension!

Seller Central Management

RepricerExpress (recommended)

My choice of repricer for Amazon. This is used to automatically price your items for sale and get the best return on your time. Use code “IGEN30” for 30 days free instead of the usual 15

SellerToolKit (recommended)

Profit analytics for Amazon Sellers, and so much more! Check out the video I did on STK here

Feedback Express

Improve your Amazon seller rating through powerfully effective, automated feedback requests, and a whole lot more!

Finances/other

Transferwise (recommended)

For receiving foreign currency and converting to your currency. For example, as a UK seller you will receive Euros. Amazon will rip you off. Transferwise will save you a LOT of money

Capital on Tap

A credit option which I personally use. Use code “1REFR436A28” during sign up to receive £75 after you have made your first transaction

AMEX Gold Business Card

Another credit option which I use a lot. The reward points on spending really add up! If you use my link, you will get 22,000 membership points (worth around £110) after you spend your first £3,000

Video Creation

Tripod

Use this to hold your phone for content creation. No need for an expensive camera when you have a phone!

Webcam

There are tons out here but this is cheap and I think it’s great value.

Screencast-O-Matic

This is the software I use to record and edit videos. There is a decent free version and the paid version is great value for money

Website

NameCheap

To get my domains I use this company as I have found them to be cheap and reliable.

Bluehost

To host my websites I use Bluehost and not had any issues so far. I started off on the most basic plan and upgrading from there was easy.

Elementor (Pro or Free)

I used Elementor Pro to build this website. You can also do quite a lot with the free version!

Books and Audiobooks

Physical copy

The 4-Hour Work Week, by Tim Ferriss

Probably my favourite book on this list. After listening to the audibook, I am now working my way through the hardcopy and treating it as more of a workbook than cover to cover read.

Rich Dad Poor Dad, by Robert Kiyosaki

A classic. This book will make you consider how you think about money. It is a must read!

How to Win Friends and Influence People, by Dale Carnegie

This links to an updated version of the original due to the ever increasing technological advances. I believe relationships are incredibly important both in business and personal life. This book has made me re-evaluate how I approach aspects of my life and in particular how I go about communicating with others.

Audiobooks

Audible

All of the above books can be found on Audible. I love Audible because it allows me to listen to books when I do other things (such as driving).
